LEADERS IN TRAINING (GRADES 10 - 12)

Got Spirit? - Yes You!  Explore together how we can "catch the Spirit" in faith and friendship and be a leader in training.  If you have “been
there” and “done camp,” come, learn how camp
can still be special for you, AND how YOU can
make camp special for others.

Take that next step! Build the skills it takes to
become a "Spirit filled" leader on summer staff (or back home in your church and school). At the end of the week, campers who are 15 hyears and older can choose to return to camp for another week -FREE- to assist as a junior counselor.

CHOOSE YOUR OWN ADVENTURE  (GRADES 9 - 12)
Are you ready for a summer adventure? Join the camp staff in creating the perfect package of summer fun just for your week at camp. Choose from a multitude of activities including: mountain bikes, low ropes, canoe and water fun, creative crafts projects, nature hikes, games, archery, horses, climbing wall, high ropes, and much more! Of course, there will be time for building friendships and growing in faith through Bible study, evening worship, large group games, songs, and campfires.

NIGHT OWL (GRADES 9 - 12)
Heroes – Late at night?! What’s that all about?
Group games, workshops, and small group
discussions will have you exploring the lives of
Biblical and everyday Heroes. Stay up late and
sleep late – YIPPEE! Enjoy breakfast at noon
and late-night dining experiences, campfires, and
rockin’ contemporary worship. Join the summer
staff for a spiritually challenging week of latenight
fun.

SENIOR HIGH ALIVE (GRADES 9 - 12)
This is the week you’ve been looking for! Senior High Alive will help you jump start your relationship with Jesus Christ. This is your opportunity to meet our risen Savior and to grow deeper in Christ, to make new and lasting friends, and renew old friendships. Along with a carefully selected dynamic speaker, youth centered seminars, activities, and incredible worship through praise and singing, you will have an “Alive” experience at camp! We can promise, this week will be a turning point in your life.

HEAD, HEARTS, AND HOOVES (GRADES 9 - 12)
Do you have visions of horses galloping through your head? Do you have a heart for horses? This is the place for you! Spend your days riding and learning more about horses. Build and improve your riding skills in lessons, on trails, over and
around small obstacles. Choose learning sessions to increase your skills and knowledge of horsemanship. Of course, there will be time for building friendships and growing in faith through Bible study, evening worship, swimming, crafts, games, songs, and campfires. You should be able to ride independently with control of your horse, at a walk AND trot before entering this program. Proficiency in basic level 1 riding skills required. Written documentation from a riding instructor, 4-H, or FFA leader may be required.

Lake Lucerne Summer Horse Camp Adventures

TAKING THE REINS  (GRADES 9 - 12)
Are you ready to take the reins, test the skills you have learned, and find the trail to follow? This is the horse camp for you! Spend most of your day with the horses. From feeding to turnout, experience what it takes to own a horse. You will learn about barn routine and how to care for a horse, and explore more in-depth horse topics too. Choose from trail adventures and more advanced riding skills. Many options await you and a horse, while exploring what trail God has laid out for you. Minimum ability: ride with control of horse at walk, trot, and be started at canter. (Participation in an advanced horse camp, OR written documentation of experience in riding lessons, 4-H, or FFA required)

FAITH EXPLOSION! (GRADES 6 - 9)
This is an exciting week where friendships are created and renewed! Each day we have a new camp experience that will enhance our relationship with God. We will worship each evening with the praise band, hear great messages and enjoy small groups that help us learn more about God and who God wants us to be. We are excited to see you at Faith Explosion!
