HORSE CAMP ADVENTURES

Spend a week riding horses, growing friendships, and building "stable relationships". You will spend plenty of time riding and learning new horsemanship skills while building great foundations in faith and Christian fellowship. Certified Horsemanship Association curriculum and natural horsemanship techniques are taught by trained and certified instructors.

Horse campers spend a portion of each day learning about horse care and riding techniques. Lessons, trail rides, games and special events will fill your week and improve  your riding skills. We use Certified Horsemanship Association (CHA) Curriculum and Natural Horsemanship techniques as our teaching cornerstone. Campers will work on building skills to reach more experienced riding levels. Most CHA levels will take more than 1 week of summer camp to become proficient and progress to the next level.

More than just riding skills, campers will learn horsemanship while growing in faith and friendship with other horse campers. Campers are immersed in the total care; including daily feeding, brushing, saddling, bathing, and mucking out the barn areas. Campers can choose sessions on key topics of horse care, offered throughout the week. There is also ample time to choose to enjoy all the other great camp activities (crafts, swimming, boating, archery, mountain biking, hiking and more), providing horse lovers with the best of both worlds! Our horse programs are based on ability more than age. Please check out the skill levels campers will work toward below.
