Ridgewood Retreat Area
The Ridgewood Retreat area offers 5 winterized cabins( Aspen, Elm, Maple, Oak, and Pine), 4 cabins have a capacity of 12 and 1 has a capacity of 14. The cabins have bedrooms with two twin beds per room. The rooms also have a dresser, mirror, and place to hang some clothes. During the winter months, bedding and towels are provided for guests who stay in the Ridgewood cabins. Food Service is available for groups in the Milton Giese Dining Hall overlooking Lake Lucerne. Aspen is set up for small groups to do their own cooking if they would like.
Oak Cabin has been newly updated! Phase one of the remodeling project is complete. Oak Cabin now offers a more open feel with Cathedral ceilings in the living area. The carpeting has been replaced and a new shower has been added! Old windows were replaced with energy efficient ones and new insulation added to keep things cozy in the winter and cooler in summer. Thanks to all of you who contributed to this project so far! We are still looking to raise funds to complete Phase 2 of the project. Aspen Cabin features a small kitchen, bathrooms, and showers.
Maple Cabin sleeps 14 persons, however, this cabin is not available during summer months (June to mid-August). It also has a small kitchen, bathrooms, and showers.
Elm and Pine cabins currently have bathrooms and share a central shower facility in Ridgewood Retreat Center, a short walk from the cabins.
The Ridgewood Retreat Center has a full kitchen, a large meeting room, fireplace, a library (with various books, puzzles, games, television, VCR, and DVD player), a porch overlooking the lake, and bathrooms with showers. Food Service is available in the Milton Giese Dining Hall, however, with prior arrangements groups may do their own food service in the kitchen of the Ridgewood Retreat Center.
